Found Love
It was his first outing. Having born, metamorphosed and lived in a small well, the world outside looked too big. If it hadn’t rained so heavily, he would still be in that well. The overflowing of the well had got him out.
The river and the abundant water outside overwhelmed him. He chose to sit in a puddle until he got used to everything around.
He would probably never have jumped into that beautiful river if that snake had not chased him into it. Once he jumped into the river, he knew there was no dearth of food or friends. Life was so much more better than being in that well or the puddle.
It sometimes takes a heavy rain and a snake for a frog to reach the river.

That one gave me a chuckle.
🙂
Good one, deepa!
Thank You..
Lovely. 🙂
Interesting! You and I, Deepa, we both see the wisdom in being rained on and chased by snakes.
You show one way those things can help us, and — in a recent poem — I try to show another way. You strike me as a reflective person. Someone perhaps born to make sense of some things.
If you are curious, this is the poem:

This is a huge compliment Paul. Thank you so much.
