She loved her job as a realtor. Helping people find their dream homes, seeing them settle down into their new homes and getting invited for parties in those homes were all part of her job. As a person who grew up drawing pictures of her dream home, she couldn’t have asked for more.

Out of all the homes that kept getting bought and sold, one particular home was special. She loved this home a lot. Strangely this home kept coming up in the market every other year. In her career of almost two decades she had sold the house close to ten times. Each time she went to show the house to people, she loved to spend time in the house. She sat in the backyard sipping her coffee dreaming of owning a similar home some day. It was a beautiful sight when it rained. The view of the mountains behind the house through the rain drops reminded her of the drawings of her dream home. There was no other home that was such a perfect match.

This time, when the house came up for sale, she decided to do something outrageous. Instead of listing it in the market, she decided to buy it out herself. She knew she would be stretching herself too thin. She knew all her savings for rainy days would dry up. She knew she might even have to take up another job to make ends meet. But then, sometimes, some things seem worth every effort. She felt that house was waiting to be bought by her. She had not seen another house that met the description of her dream house more than this one. Some dreams are meant to be fulfilled at any cost. She wanted to try and keep the home. To herself.

Good story! Some things are worth sacrificing for, and it sounds as if the house was waiting for her to buy it!
