This restaurant is the most visited restaurant in the town. The food is fantastic. They also fed the homeless on every rainy day. It was a strange custom that they followed. Even stranger is the story of how the restaurant came into being.
When the alarm rang, she looked up the weather report. If it showed chances of rain, she went back to sleep. She could sleep for another half an hour because she would not cook on rainy days.
She grew up in a large family with a lot of siblings. Dinner time was the best part of the day. All of them ate together and the room would fill up with stories from the day. As time passed, the siblings moved away for college and for work.
She found a job in a nearby town. She loved her job and the town. Her only problem was that she was not used to having a meal alone. She had to share her meal. Initially she ate with her co-workers. But soon realized that it was difficult to keep up with their meal time. She then started going to the nearby parks. She started sharing her meal with the homeless who would be sitting on the park benches. They had become her meal time friends now. She carried food for them everyday.
However, when it rained, she could not go to the park and share her meal. She also noticed that her homeless friends sought shelter elsewhere and mostly went hungry on those days. Hence she never cooked on those days. In the long run, this started affecting her health. She had to find a way to eat on rainy days.
After a lot of thought, she decided to start a restaurant. She cooked and served food everyday. She never had to eat her meal alone. She cooked extra food to feed the homeless.
Now, when the alarm rang in the morning, she always woke up. She still did not like rainy days but nevertheless she did not miss her meal on those days. Instead, she made sure that no one missed their meal, even on rainy days.
