Looking back, she would have wanted it different

She would have avoided it, if she could 

She would have been elsewhere, doing something else

But, this is where she is right now and she knows that

Each day, she planned her course of action

Every day she did what was right for that moment

Each day she observed and noted down the developments

Every day was another day to be dealt with positivity and hope

When everyone appreciated her for her courage

She flashed that beautiful smile of hers

Telling others that  she just knew she had to keep going

Giving up hope was not an option she had

The toil continues, days leading to weeks and then months 

And she seems to draw her strength from her inner abundance

Doing what she thought was right, like she always did

Her goal was fixed and that is all that mattered. 

She could be me , you, or anyone we know 

Or she could be someone we ever aspired to be

There is only one thing that we all know about her 

That she will fight until she gets what she wants.
