Divergence

As if the diversity in your creation wasn’t vast enough
YOU gave each one of us, a different outlook to life
Each one viewing the same object with similar eyes
Seeing what they choose to see because YOU did not tag them
Each one Listening to the same sound with similar ears
Hearing what they choose to hear because YOU did not attach the notes
Each one experiencing the same conditions with similar senses
Feeling what they choose to feel because YOU did not sync the stimulants
The cold, the fall, the spring, the summer; nature follows a code of conduct
Changing, shedding, regrowing and flowering; they seem to have learnt the art
They don’t seem to be bothered about following a pattern for their survival
Nor do they end up bringing down their own clan just to show superiority
I wonder if you have given them access to the tags and the notes and the stimulants
Giving them an upper hand to follow it and act in synchronization
As if the diversity in your creation wasn’t  vast enough,
YOU gave each one of us, a different outlook to life.

A different outlook on life is good as long as those different outlooks tolerate each other.

Excellent post! I’d never really thought about diversity that way.

You have done a fine job articulating the value and uniqueness of each human life.
