In Life You Get What You Give – A Small Story
When I come across a good story, I feel compelled to share it on my blog. If I can take that story to some more people, I consider it my honor.

There was a farmer who regularly sold butter to a baker. One day, the baker decided to weigh the butter to see if he was getting the exact amount that he asked for. He found out that he wasn’t, so he took the farmer to court.
The judge asked the farmer if he uses any measure to weigh the butter. The farmer replied, “Your Honor, I’m primitive. I don’t have a proper measure, but I do have a scale.”
The judge replied, “Then how do you weigh the butter?”
The farmer replied; “Your Honor, long before the baker started buying butter from me, I have been buying a pound loaf of bread from him. Every day, when the baker brings the bread, I put it on the scale and give him the same weight in butter. If anyone is to be blamed, it’s the baker.”

I laughed the first time I read this story. Can there be a better example of “karma”?
Moral of the story: In life, you get what you give.

Good story. Still chuckling.
😊
That’s a great story! And I firmly believe in the moral as well. We do tend to get out of life almost exactly what we put into it!
Yes. And still I wonder how people with so many wrong doings get away. They seem to be doing everything wrong and still leading a seemingly happy life …
When someone writes an piece of writing he/she maintains the image of a user in his/her mind that how a user can know it.
