The Ten Positive Things Challenge
I read about a challenge called “The Ten Positive Things Challenge” on my newly found blogger friend Ritu’s blog. I immediately knew I had to do this. The original post was by Bipolar Whispers.
An opportunity to celebrate yourself in a positive light. Something definitely worth doing, in this world that can be filled with negativity most of the time.
The ‘Ten Positive Things’ Challenge comes from Bipolar Whispers who writes:
“I tend to see things negatively when it comes to myself. So I thought I would challenge myself. In doing so I am also challenging you. Yes YOU! The readers of my blog. I want you to write 10 positive things about you. Post them on your blog and link the link in the comments. “
I would like to challenge all my readers to take this up.
I consider it as a note to myself. It will work as an antidote whenever I feel low.
If you are a blogger, please feel free to link your post in the comments.
If you are not a blogger, if you feel comfortable, you can put the points in the comments section. Else, make the list and keep it with yourself for reference.
- I love myself and whatever I do.
- I am an introvert by nature but can become an extrovert whenever required.
- I love to exercise and look forward to that 30-45 minutes routine daily.
- I am not afraid of taking up a challenge. Once I take it up, I know I will bring it to a completion.
- I am optimistic about the future. I start afresh every day and am capable of completely forgetting what happened yesterday. (unless I have decided to remember and carry it forward)
- I know very clearly that I am responsible for all my thoughts and its repercussions.
- I believe in taking those baby steps everyday towards achieving a bigger goal.
- I am a confidant to my friends and I always keep their secrets.
- I love spending time in the library.
- Nature gets the best out of me. I am the happiest amongst tall trees and green grass.
Phew… That was not easy. But it was very satisfying I must say.
Celebrate Yourself With These Ten (as many as you wish) Positive Things Today (and everyday) !

Lovely celebration of yourself Deepa!
Thank You Ritu.
That is a great idea! It’s so easy to dwell on our “shortcomings” that we forget all the positive things about ourselves. I’m glad you did this Deepa, and I think I will too, although I’ll keep my list private. That way I can be more honest with myself!
Thank You Ann. Yes, to make a private list a very good idea.
Something that we have strive and getting there, feeling cold breeze we thought will never make it! What you listed up there is a big deal but that’s kind of eternal deal to explore and find ourselves in a new place of wisdom, strength, competitiveness, and love! You think wise and you spread it!
Thank you Sree…
